Once you’re satisfied, plug the garage door opener back in. Test the door again and add another ¼ turn if necessary. If it doesn’t, add a ¼ turn to each spring.
If it stays in place, you did the job correctly.
Lift the door up about 3 feet (0.91 m) high and let it go.
Test the door and reconnect the opener.
